PAC 12 loves U
Sandy, Utah

I remember last year when Y fans jumped on the DNews comment boards saying Washington State is a Pac-12 bottom dweller before and after Utah played them.

Now that BYU has them on their schedule this year.

My question to those Y fans is: Is Washington State going to be a Pac-12 bottom dweller this year?

Congratulations coach leach on your first win as a prestigious pac12 coach. Your games against other bcs teams will be significantly tougher

Mark it down

If byu beats utah I won't post on byu articles all year

I will be posting all year

With Leach at the helm, they should improve which could leave Utah and Colorado to battle it out for bottom dweller status.

I think Leach will have some surprises prepared for league play, but it will take time to gain some status. You don't go from whipping post, to top dog overnight. I just think it's great that there are now three PAC head coaches who attended BYU. There are several others around the country, and in the pros. That says something about the legacy of Lavell as well. Are there any from Utah besides Chow? I'm not being snarky, I'm honestly curious. I think Utah is just beginning to make their mark. BYU began making a mark in the late 70s, so I think it will be a few years more before UTE alumni begin really making the scene.

PAC 12 loves U,

They were a bottom-dweller last year, and they may be this year. However, Leach being the head coach scares me for next year. Next year they most likely be upper end of the PAC. Just my honest opinion. I doubt that Leach will make enough of an impact to beat BYU on day 1. These things take time to sink in. Bronco Mendenhall's second year was much better than his first.

This will be a fun game to watch. I think byU will win but not without a struggle.

Could get ugly for the cougs if they don't pull this one out though. Don't ever want to lose to PAC 12 "bottom feeder".

Wow the ignorance of some fans is puzzling at best. Anyone in their right mind knows that neither BYU or Utah are cellar dwellers. To claim such no matter which you cheer for makes you look silly!

An opposing coach wants to win an away game.

Now that is cutting edge journalism.

Well done.

I prefer 1983's 55-7

Steve Young's 6 touchdowns

Chris, BYU will win this Thurs at LES and at RES on Sep 15. Mark it down. Sayanara, It will be nice to not have to see any more of your posts following the Sep 15 game.

Panamadesnews ....I know you picked BYU to beat the Utes last year and how did that work out for you... The Utes recruiting class for 2012 is ranked #28 in the nation....BYU is ranked 61 and we are playing in Salt Lake...The lowly Cougs have very little chance of winning.

Things we don't yet know:
1) How BYU will do against WSU.
2) How the BYU-Utah game will turn out.

Things we do know:
1) Chris B will not honor her promise. Just like another troll (or is it the same one?) didn't honor a promise not to post on BYU articles during Basketball season a couple of years ago.

Things we do know

1) utah will crush byu
2) Utah will continue play meaninful games with meaningful rewards(see BCS bowls and NC games)
3) byu will lose one of your first 3 games, likely 2 of 3, essentially ending your season
4) Utah will have a showdown against the USC trojans for a trip to the Rose Bowl on the line
5) byu will continue to have powerful devotionals
6) utah will continue to have powerful football teams
7) utah will continue to send many athletes to the NFL
8) byu will continue to prepare bishops
