Since the witch hunters over at the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency can't strip titles, Lance may end up with them afterall.
Witch hunters? What possibly could these people gain from these charges. You people who think that the cycling world is just jealous of Lance are completely delusional. A federal investigation subpoenaed some of Lance's closest friends in his cycling days-- they took those testimonies and turned them over to USADA.
There evidence is jam packed with testimony of both riders and testers and one blood sample from 2010 that suggests doping.
He was once thought to be a hero, and we love our heroes, but its just as hard for the cycling world to admit that they weren't effective at testing as it is for them to bring down one of cycling's greatest ever athlete.
He is likely the best cyclist of all time, but he also doped, as did most of the top riders.
An administration can not force an international entity into doing anything it doesn't want to do. So, I firmly believe that all Usada has done is said it does not acknowledge Lance Armstrong as the tour winner for those 7 years... Word had it last week that the Cycling Union has no intention of stripping those titles. So, the USADA can bite me! So can anyone hating on Lance. Like Doug Robinson pointed out he was not a jerk like Bonds so he shouldn't be hated on like Bonds is/was. Bottom line is that even 2.5 million people benefited from a great lie if it truly was one. But then, ya have to remember that many others were also guilty of doping... Armstrong did it best! 7 straight times (i didn't say years).
Given the evidence that EVERYONE was cheating (which is the essence of the evidence given by Tyler Hamilton and others as the core of the case against Lance, either you must completely vacate the ENTIRE race (since no one was clean) or just say that what happened happened, and move on.
