When Katrina hit New Orleans, some of my LDS relatives "hinted" that it was punishment for the immoral lifestyle by some in that city.
I thought that was totally ludicrous.
For the record, I don't think it applies in this case either.
The first day of the convention was totally expendable anyhow. No TV coverage for reasons unrelated to the hurricane, all the major speakers were shuffled the second day because of the TV coverage issue.
I do find it funny, however, that the first day was set apart as the BIG day for the Obama groupies to march their protest parades all around, screaming and holding their big paper signs and paper mache cutouts of the candidates. Talk about rain on your parade.
Move the convention to Romney's home State of Utah.
