I was satisfied with the result last night. 3 games in 6 days is a lot to ask, especially since a lot of the guys played in all 3 matches.
Looking ahead RSL doesn't have to play more than 2 games in one week. If you take away the 2 remaining CCL games they have at least 5 days between MLS games.
The RSL front office asked the league to front load their schedule so they wouldn't be overloaded with games during the final 2 months of the season with CCL games. Hopefully this move pays off with a well rested team going into every match with a good chance of getting a result on fresh legs.
It was important to get a point. Hopefully the players will look refreshed with a bit of a break.
