You can lead a kid to healthy foods, but you can't make him eat, no matter how hard you legislate it.
Fewer hours of compulsory sitting at a desk and more physical ed would go a long way to slimming down kids. Food is only part of the equation; lifestyle's a big part of it, too.
If you want kids to eat healthy foods provided at school, you should not give them choices for what they put on their plate. Their choices should be reduced to eat or go hungry.
