I guess this is what Chris B and what's-his-name and his 80% of his Co workers who say they are BYU fans are not capable of understanding.

If you can only succeed at one thing while trying for another, I'd rather BYU keep trying for a national championship while succeeding in the battle for the souls of young men.

Utah 32
byu 10
riley 4 turnovers

If byu wins, I won't post on a byu article the rest of the year

Any cougar fan brave enough to match my wager?

I'll be posting all year

Very interesting article about a real character. It's good to see life get better for RT. And whether BYU beats Utah or the unthinkable happens, I promise NOT to post on any Utah site... nor would I because I have more class than that.

Chris B, I will take that bet. If Utah wins, I will not post on any Utah article until fall 2013. If BYU wins, then you are out, AND you can't post under some other name. I look forward to having you gone. And, make no mistake, you will be gone.

Great story about Russel. His mission means so much to him now but his mission will mean even more to him as he gets older. The mission experience is one that nobody regrets. Can't wait to watch Russel on the D line this year.

I see Chris B got several takers, any more Utah fans want to match me? If Utah wins I promise not to post on any Utah article for a year!

To be honest it is hardly fair, I do remember posting on a Utah article once in the last year. I was congratulating the Red Rocks (Utah Women Gymnasts). LOL

I'm with you all. I promise not to post on any Utah articles if Utah wins...if it means Chrissy B not posting on any BYU articles with BYU's win.

But I'm also like Kralon. I think I've posted on two Utah articles ever...and they were both in support of the U. Wouldn't surprise me if there are some Utah fans that might want BYU to win, if it meant Chrissy B. not making any more stupid comments or predictions that embarrass even the U's own fan base. I know some of them are getting tired of her.

I PROMISE, if the Cougs lose - I will NOT post a comment on a ute article for one year.

We are going to miss you Crissy.

It's players like Russell Tialavea that make me proud to call myself a BYU fan.

Good luck, Russ, in your final year as a Cougar!

Great young man. If a mission can do that for a kid then put them all on missions.

Nobody believes your "promise". Isn't it funny how you're nowhere to be found on Ute articles.

Great article Brandon Gurney. Love to read positive articles when it comes to sports and this was another really interesting positive story to read. I had no idea Russel T. had a bad attitude before his mission, guess that isn't something fans hear about unless the kids are dismissed from the team. I'm sure Russel T. will continue to have a positive influence on a lot of younger kids coming through BYU or somewhere else in football when his playing career is over.

Chris B- I have never read a Ute article (unless it is a Ute/BYU article) so i have no problem taking you up on your bet.

I got a lump in my throat reading this. Russell will you marry my daughter? I hope you speak at the Fireside in Atlanta! We will see you there. Can't wait. You must have a awesome mom!

Chris B made this promise before, and he broke that promise after just a couple of weeks after BYU won. He will be back regardless of who wins that game.

Kudos to Russell T. for going on a mission. ChrisB and the other trolls might not understand why he did it but I do. It is stories like these that make me proud of B.Y.U. Bronco would love to see his team have success on the field, but he also understands that many of his players will not play professionally, and the "other vision" of B.Y.U which is too change the lives of young men and give them a greater purpose that will go beyond football. Thanks Bronco and Russell for your great example.

His word is definitely not his bond; but what else should we expect from a blogger who's all talk, but no walk?

I'm another one who could easily take Chris B up on his wager, since I rarely even look at articles about the Utes, and don't recall ever having commented on one. But, really, we should pity Chris rather than get upset. It really is a shame to have nothing more fulfilling in one's life than to try to rile up fans of a rival university. I'm completely serious about that.

This is the type of thing that makes BYU so special. Bronco truly tries to make every player a better man not just a better football player. I wouldn't send my boys to any other University.
