Back to back winning seasons and another bowl berth? Yes please. Totally possible, too.

"But the Aggies have Kennedy, who came on midseason when Chuckie Keeton got hurt, leading USU to five straight wins, plus the bowl start. Then there's Keeton, who began as last year's starter and probably has a slight lead again this year."

If Gary Anderson is smart he'll go with Kennedy. Keeton was terrible when he was forced to throw and the only reason he seemed elusive was because opposing teams had to go all in to try and defend 2 NFL running backs in Turbin and Michael Smith. With those guys gone the offense will have to replace something like 75% of their rushing yards and TD's. Keeton will struggle now that teams can key on him since Turbin and Smith are gone.

In spite of that, USU should still win 6 games and get to a bowl game.

Hopefully the Aggies can build off the success they had last year and have an even better year this year. Their program seems to be gaining momentum and I would hope that their final WAC schedule would lend itself to another bowl appearance at the end.

Good Luck USU

If only USU can find a way to win the big games. The Aggies have a long history of coming up short. Close doesn't cut it in competitive sports. Signed long suffering Aggie fan.

I wish the Aggies success and actually think that they could/should reach a bowl game again this year.

That said I am a little confused if you (Mr. Rock) are using depth as measured by starts as your metric for saying the Aggies have the best QB situation in the State.

Just down the road at Utah you have Jordan Wynn who is 13-6 in games started backed-up by Jon Hays who is 6-3 has a starter. Both Wynn and Hays have a Bowl win on their resume as well. That is more starts and a better W/L percentage vs. tougher competition than the USU duo can claim.

Granted one could argue that it was more John White IV that carried Utah more than Hays last year, but Keeton and Kennedy's combined 7-6 mark also came the support of 2 NFL RB that won't be in Logan this year, Wynn and/or Hays will still have White to lean on.

Both Keeton and Kennedy played well last year. Keeton should return as the starter, but it is great to have Kennedy ready to go if needed. It should be a great season for the Aggies.

Poor little Sambone. Can't stick to the topic. Well I can and all I have to say is you can only get better if you win a Bowl game. USU can't do it. Good luck in a few weeks guys. Your gonna need it.

Great FB programs just don't happen by accident. I want to challenge any of you who care about Aggie football if your not invested in Aggie football to do it. Gary Anderson is a heck of a coach. If you look where this team was before Gary got here compared to today. Complete transformation! A lot of credit needs to go to President Albrecht and AD Scott Barnes. But Gary had a plan coming to Logan and has executed it tremendously. The coaching staff is solid the talent level is improved light years. If you want to see a competitive football team support the Aggies. Buy season tickets, join the big blue club. The time for action is long past due. Stop talking about it and step up. I'm invested in this program are you? I've been a season ticket holder and a member of the Big blue club for over 15 years. ( I live and work in the SLC area) Can't wait for Aggie football this year. Never been so optimistic. Always been hopeful but realistic in the past. We just weren't competitive. Very different program today. GO AGGIES! I.S.

USU isn't a great program. If they have success it's all by accident Aggiefootballfan.
