My daughter and I were were fortunate to attend the Hill Cumorah pageant on its
last day a few years ago. It was incredible to not only be there but also chat
with visitors from literally everywhere before the show. Afterwards we were
invited to the testimony meeting of the cast members the following day (Sunday)
on site. Wow! What an experience. Then we learned from them all of the miracles
that happened during the production. All in all, it was a very memorable and
spiritual moment in my life.
I would love to see a list of outdoor pageants in the U.S.---seems like it would
have been an appropriate addition to the story.
I've been to some first nations ceremonies at places such as
writing-on-stone that far and away are the most moving when it comes to
connecting with 'place'.
