I chatted with this young man once. He seemed to be a great individual with huge arms!! I was very impressed with his demanor. I certainly hope he get some substantial playing time this year. He certainly will have a successful life.
What a great story about hard work and persistence - two qualities that lead to a successful life. I think the first time I saw Foote play was against CSU a couple of years ago. I'm not a coach, but I could see the potential. I hope he gets some opportunities this year and maintains his 9.5 yards per carry average.
I'm surprised DNews didn't have the update on Quezada. He's going to Fresno State and he was baptized this past week. Both accounts must disappoint the Ute trolls who said he was coming to Utah. Wish he was still a Cougar, but he's got a bright future ahead.
I wish him well. He is exactly the type of player Bronco wants. Drive out the stars...keep the walk-ons.
Congratulations David! Well done.
