I don't understand why everyone thinks the Federal govt can more effectively manage our lands than us. What makes them so special? The Federal govt doesn't run anything especially well. Just because Utah takes over and manages the Federal land that was promised to us at statehood, doesn't mean that we will loose all of the wilderness that we have. We will not develop every acre because we as Utahns still like our wild places and wild things.

"We will not develop every acre because we as Utahns still like our wild places and wild things."

Our state's track record of electing land developers and the actual development of land in areas not suitable for development would suggest otherwise.

Wasting $3,000,000+ of tax payer's money to fund this lawsuit. The State will lose as they have no legitimate claim to the land.
If somehow they were to get the land they have absolutely no reasonable way to fund the management of it unless they sell it. They sell then land then it's locked up and nobody will ever be able to enjoy it again.
Everyone will lose in this scenario. There would be no winners. At all.

Utah, it's not your land.
