May the health be with you.
Don't say I didn't tell you so with Hansen's shoulder. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. His future is on the defensive side of the ball.
Too bad about Hansen, but why does a hurt shoulder make someone a better fit for defense? I would think that the violent collisions of a safety would be worse on your shoulder than throwing a football.
Who's your DADDY?
Sounds like Whit has already started the process to move Hansen to LB, his natural position. I think he has NFL potential at LB. At QB it's questionable whether he has the skills to lead a Top 50 caliber D1 team.
I think you might be right Duckhunter. Chase brings some intangibles and I don't want to count him out a QB, but with the shoulder, a mission, and a few years down the line, defense might be his thing.
True Joey K, but a Safety doesn't have to use the shoulder to throw the football either.
Wait and see, Tebow will hurt his shoulder as well, and his throws will be even more of an issue.
CougFaninTX, I'm assuming you haven't seen Chase play live. I had several chances last year. Offensively he was everything he was advertised as. Defensively, he didn't have the same decisiveness and natural feel. His best opportunity for success on the field is with the ball in his hands.
