Why the idea that all men are guilty and all women are the victims? Don't we already have local and state laws protecting people of both sexes from assaults by spouses and partners?
Yeah, like Topeka Kansas which repealed it's domestic violence law for a while for "economic reasons."

Yeah, like Topeka Kansas which has a domestic violence law it enforces. Personally I don't understand domestic violence. I've never hit my wife, never considered hitting her, and she wouldn't have tolerated it for much more than about 1/2 second.
What I really don't understand are the women who keep coming back to the men that have abused them in the past.
I agreed with this article until the line "...it lacks key improvements."
Biden argues that this is simply a renewal of an 18 year law but it is not. The legislation, passed by the senate, is a renewal AND an unfunded expansion of an 18 year law. That is where the opposition comes from. This is how government and it's services get expanded.
