Obama consoles US victims of the CO. shooting.

Mitt Romney leaves the country.

When President Obama went to Colorado he didn't have a state visit planned to our Founding Father's country for a long time. The President went there, supposedly, to provide some support for the military people shot to help foster some support for the military. Mitt Romney in one visit has shown more support for Britain than any of this administration's 1000s of visits by our high paid diplomats. This President bad mouthed our best supporters in the past 4 years as he visited dozens of other countries telling those citizens that we have done bad things to them over the past 200 years and less. Hope and Change was not for the better and this President has shown us his definition of those two significant words are definitely not the normal definitions. His goal appears to have been to show disrespect for our former leaders and the military men and women who have given their all for support of our United States of America, it's Constitution, people, protection of our ideals and way of life for others to enjoy in our country. We need a person who can work with leaders that support our country.

Willard goes over seas trying to improve his image and he is trying hard to appear presidental but polls indicate he is losing that battle. Something does not smell right to independents and Willard needs to address his shortfalls or he'll continue to fall further behind. He'll get little support from the constituents of Massachuetts where he left office after only one term with a 33% approval rating. Come'on back home Mitt and start being truthful about who you are and what you've done before it's too late!

Romney's negative comments about the UK's readiness for the Games has gone down very badly here. Whatever he meant to say, he has done himself no favours. But then again, we Brits have no votes in November!

HS Fan,
Romney's approval rating was 66% in early NOV 2003. After the SCOTUS ruling on gay marriage, Romney took his stance on the issue. This did not sit well with a predominantly democratic state and dropped it to 45% by the end of NOV 2003. That had absolutely nothing to do with his governance of MA. By Jan 2005 it had gone back up to 56%, but then started to decline due to rumors of him running for POTUS. After he announced he was running and not seeking re election in MA it steadily dropped to 39% in Dec 2006. Coincidence? I don't think so. If anything, it could be argued that the commonwealth of MA was upset that Romney was leaving. Which is understandable given the fact MA's UE rate dropped 1% during his term and he left a surplus in the budget.

Read up of Romney's fiscal responsibility while serving MA. Particularly his last year in Office when the legislature continued to try and increase spending using money from the rainy day fund he set up.

When was the last time Obama's approval rating was above 50%?

Pagan,

In the past month, Chicago has had over double the murders of the Colorado theater, while Obama was golfing, and having dinner parties. You're reasoning is bias and flawed.

When he finished the job, he had a 33% approval rating. Based upon your spin he will win his home state this Fall? I think not. Mitt has changed his views constantly over his public career. People don't trust him and current polling show he isn't liked. Those are just the facts.
