"Utah State and Utah have met 223 times, making it the second-oldest rivalry in both the Aggies' and Utes' histories, both trailing their respective series with Brigham Young."

It's nice to see the Utes finally summoning up the courage to schedule the Aggies again.

What about Weber State?

I could make an aside comment about the "competition" quote from Stew Morrill, but I'm just excited that the U will be playing USU again in bball. I'm a big fan of in-state games, and it's especially easy in basketball. I'd be just fine if the Cougars, Utes, Aggies, Wildcats, Wolverines, and T-birds played each other at least once a year every year.

I might get tickets for this.

Glad to see an assortment of Y trolls once again obsessing about the Utes with your matchless whit. Impressive. News flash, there is something greater than getting to the Sweet Sixteen though you being Y fans you really no nothing about your team doing that; just saying. Glad the series with USU will go on. That is far more important than playing Final Nothing /Never BYU.

"News flash, there is something greater than getting to the Sweet Sixteen..."

How would U know?

It's been so long since the Utes actually won a game during March Madness, that the kids on the hill wouldn't even know what it's like without popping in an old VHS tape.

Utah's glory days are behind U. The last remnants of the Majerus era are faded and gone.

Hope the Utes field a team. I miss the Majerus days.

I applaud USU for so charitably granting the abysmal utah program a game. This can only hurt USU's rpi and a win over utah does nothing to enhance their standing in the eyes of the country or the ncaa selection commity. I would say this is a big risk for USU because they can gain nothing by winning this game and only hurt themselves if they lose but the truth is there is no risk here because there is about a zero percent chance they can ever lose. So really it is just charity.

Welcome back. Please be patient as your team reloads as it will be years from never that the Utes will sniff an NCAA tourney bid.

I am quite surprised that the Utes would take a chance at the Aggies and even more surprised that the Aggies would put such a 'cupcake' on their slate at the risk of their RPI. But it is the right thing to do. It seems that everyone in the state is happy with it, even you from AZ.

Funny that Dr. Hill is so hypocritical with his football program.

Glad to see USU can beat UofU in at least one sport. Let's hope the fan's act appropriatlly around the Utes.

For all you Indy-WACey fans out there, USU will be playing in the MWC at this time. MWC teams need not fear a low RPI. Not with UNM and UNLV on their conference slate anyway.

Hopefully, but the time the Utes face the Aggies, we'll finally be fielding a respectable team.

Go Aggies!

GO UTES!!!
