Obama says taxes should go up so his so-called wealthy will be forced to pay their "fair share". Sounds like this "fair share" nonsense is just that - nonsense - especially since small business will fall into the 250k and above category and heaping more taxes on small business will be a death nail for the US economy. There is reality and then there is Obama political fantasy. Raising taxes just doesn't work in the real world. In the far left socialist Obama fantasy world it always works. Too bad life isn't a fantasy. Of course if you believe Barack you should understand that paying more taxes is your "duty" since the only way you achieved any success in life was due to the Federal Government making it possible. Yes sir - every good socialist / communist knows that success only comes from big brother government. Every "real" American knows that communism is the POISON that wrecks nations and BIG government is the heart of communism... and seems to also be the heart of Barack Hussin Obama.

The other problem is that under the Bush tax cuts, the wealthy actually paid more in taxes. According to the Forbes article "After Bush Tax Cuts, Payments By Wealthy Actually Increased". Using tax returns they found that "the top 0.1% and top 1% of earners (which includes all millionaires and billionaires) had major increases in their income tax payments between 2003 and 2007, both in absolute dollars as well as in their % contribution to total taxes." So if the Bush Tax Cuts actually raised taxes on the wealthy, why don't the liberals want them to remain, rather than let them expire?

As this excellent article stated, "Ernst & Young's analysis points out that output in the long-run would fall by about $200 billion in today's economy, and the economy would have 710,000 fewer jobs." But yet the Democrats and Obama continue to insist that the rich must pay their "fair share."

This is ridiculous. Their proposed tax on the rich will actually generate a mere $85 billion in new taxes over one year. But yet, the federal government spends that much in just under nine days.

Well, so much for Democrat's smokescreen that we need to "soak" the rich (in the name of fairness), which will not reduce the growth of the deficit by a single red penny or even "stimulate" this stagnated economy.

What I do know is that my 401k investments are "taking a bath." I am not sure I can afford this guy in the White House for another four years. If this is the "hope and change" he promised in 2008, I can do without it.

I own a small business and I can assure all Americans that will listen to me that if Obama's plan is implemented I will be forced to cut back my workforce by 15%.

Obama is killing our economy. And rather than pull the knife out and let us heal, he is twisting the knife and pouring salt.

Obama has been absolutely the worst president for our country. I cannot begin to understand anyone who would vote for him in November. They are deluded by his promises. But when reality hits and a new recession has arrived because of Obama, and more people end up unemployed, and net worth and savings are depleted, and taxes continue to increase because of his tax policies and Obamacare, then they will see their folly.
