Olympic basketball continues to be controversial with multi-millionaires competing in an "amateur" event. David Stern, NBA commissioner, has stated that this may very well be the last Olympics with NBA stars competing. He wants to set up a world basketball championship through FIBA at the same time to rival the World Cup of soccer and generate millions of dollars. That would probably make everyone happy.
