Love Jimmer, but I think he's destined to light them up in Europe. He's extremely talented but NBA teams just won't adjust to Jimmer's game.

I just can't believe this man was last years college player of the year. What's happened? He's turning out to be an all time flop. Better get it together this summer and winter Jimmer or your basketball career may be over. You ave to have some nastiness, agression, and big effort every night to make it in the NBA, and your not doing it. Man up or your basketball life will be history too soon bud.

Jimmer and Sharp can't co-exist.

Give the guy a break, he got drafted to the worst team possible, all ball hogs and all egos and a quick coaching change well before mid season! Their veterans give him the evil eye every time he misses a shot because he did not pass it to them instead! I saw quite several 20 point+ games from him last year when he actually got the green light to shoot and got enough minutes to warm up. There are 20+ teams (including the Jazz) that would be a better fit for him and would jump all over the chance to give him a shot if Sacramento does not work out. Like many other players before, a Different coaching staff/offensive set could make all the difference!

The Jimmer NBA experiment is playing out how I thought it would. He was an exciting player at BYU. But in the NBA nobody is going to let a guy shoot from the parking lot all the time. Jimmer can do other things well, but not at the NBA level.

Jimmer is a great shooter and slasher. I feel like he would have been great as a Jazz player or an older team were there were not so many young guys who are ball hogs. Jimmer I feel like would be a great asset to a team needing some one to provide a spark off the bench.

I loved Jimmer Fredette as a fun player to watch in college. It was not difficult to predict that he would have trouble moving up a level to a league with bigger, faster, and more talented athletes.

I wish Jimmer Fredette every good thing. He has a contract that will allow him to make more in the NBA than I will earn in my lifetime. I hope he saves his money and remembers the good times he has enjoyed . . . and the fragile nature of an NBA career.

Thanks for the memories, good luck in life, and success to you!

Hope he can find his confidence and his shot.

The NBA will not adjust to Jimmers game until he proves his game will work in the NBA. He needs time and patience which the NBA has very little of with the salaries they pay. If you cannot produce from day one there will be no day two.

I'm so mad they cut him off the Olympics team. He would have dominated the world.

At BYU Jimmer played most of the game. Sometimes it would take until the second half before he stsrted hitting. This is how he plays. The kings need to give him the time and let him play his game.

Jimmer was successful in college but was going into the NBA with the same game as Shawn Bradley. Just because you can play in the Mtn. West conference doesn't mean you will make it in the NBA. He is a good player at a level below the NBA but will always be a dissapointment as he moves around from team to team just as Shawn did. Very much overrated coming out of college. A wasted draft pick by the Kings and they already know it and are trying to bring in guards to position themselves for a trade of JIMMMER.

Fredette isn't NBA material at all........too slow, not quick and plays the worst defense I've ever seen. No NBA team will sign him after his rookie contract expires this year. He reminds me of Adam Morrison. A good player in a lower tier conference, but has ZERO NBA ability. If James Taft Fredette had played in the ACC, Big 12 or Big East he would have never won the player of the year award. Heck, he would have gone un-drafted for sure.

Did you folks watch Westbrook and DWADE in this year's NBA finals..............amazing!!!!!!!!!

There is a solution for Jimmer. Lots of white gunners make the NBA. Nothing wrong with that. But they had the confidence to play that off the bench role, come in and bang in some key buckets. Pistol Pete Maravich had a similar experience in the NBA. He played, but was never a big star. I think Jimmer will figure it out and be around for a while.

If older, slower point guards like Andre' Miller and Jason Kidd who've absolutely torched Fredette at will...........he just can't play at the NBA level. Some eastern Euro team will pick him up is my bet.

Shawn Bradley? Don't remember Shawn dialing up 47 on the hapless utes without breaking a sweat. Jimmer is certainly not Dwade or Westbrook and I don't think may of his fans think he is capable of being that type of dominating player but he is capable of being a good 6th or 7th man in the NBA. Just let him shoot for 20 minutes and he'll be fine.

He's "playing" for a coach that sat jeremy lin and then traded him off. i expect more of the same here.

He's on a horrible team for the type of situation that's best for him but still he'll probably only peak as a quality bench player orlow-tier starter (21-40 range at his position).

I still believe Jimmer can make it in the NBA. But not in Sacramento where the organization is dysfunctional, the players are all ball hogs and Keith Smart does not like him (ignore the media quotes, only watch what Smart does). Jimmer needs a trade to a pick and roll team that will help him play his game and a coach that will drive him to work harder on defense. He is capable, but needs the right system. Kyrie Irving would have stunk in Sacramento last year.
