Here is one quote from FactCheck dot org, published 12 Jul 2012, titled "Romney's Bain Years: New Evidence, Same Conclusion," on their site:

"New reporting [from Fortune Magazine] cites strong evidence that Mitt Romney wasn’t actively managing Bain Capital while he was running the Olympics, despite what the Obama campaign (and some news reports) would have voters believe.

"This has become a key point of contention, because Obama TV ads accuse Romney of shipping U.S. jobs overseas. We reported that the Obama campaign had failed to back up its claims ("Obama's 'Outsourcer' Overreach," June 29), partly because Romney had left Bain in February 1999 to run the 2002 Winter Olympic and wasn’t actively in charge of the company at the time.

"But the Obama campaign objected, claiming that Romney remained a part-time manager even while he was living in Utah and running the Olympics. We responded, finding the campaign’s evidence weak or non-existent."

FactCheck further cited they are not alone in this judgment: Fortune Magazine, Washington Post (Fact Checker column), Columbia Journalism Review, and ABC News are in agreement with FactCheck's assessment.

Here is the quote from Fortune Magazine:

"Mitt Romney did not manage Bain Capital's investments after leaving to run the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, according to confidential firm documents obtained by Fortune. Now Fortune has obtained new evidence that supports Romney's version of events.

"Bain Capital began circulating offering documents for its seventh private equity fund in June 2000. Those documents include several pages specifying fund management. The section begins:

"Set forth below is information regarding the background of the senior private equity investment professionals of Bain Capital. Also listed are certain investment professionals responsible for the day-to-day affairs of the Brookside and Sankaty funds, which are affiliated funds of Fund VII."

"It then goes on to list 18 managers of the private equity fund. Mitt Romney is NOT among them. Same goes for an affiliated co-investment fund, whose private placement memorandum is dated September 2000.

"Then there is Bain Capital Venture Fund – the firm's first dedicated venture capital effort – whose private placement memorandum is dated January 2001. Romney also isn't listed among its "key investment professionals," or as part of its day-to-day operations or investment committee."

Accomplishments leading to another four years of Obama:

* the stopping of out sourcing
* tax cuts for ninety percent of the middle class
* support for gays
* support for abortions
* two billion dollar support for the Muslim Brotherhood
* using tax money to build auto plants in Finland and Mexico.
* sending billions to Brazil for off shore drilling
* free health insurance for all Americans
* costing each American twenty thousand dollars, has added five and a half trillion to the debt.

Is America in good hands?

Was Mr.Romney the CEO/Owner at Bain during the time in question? If the answer is yes he is responsible for what went on period. If he wasn't the CEO or owner, then he is not. The Olympics and everything else is irrelevant. When you put your name to something, you own it.
