I was wondering what took so long for this trade to be official. Maybe I haven't listened to sports radio enough to find out. Too bad for me that won't be happening. The LHM group minimizing our on air talent for one station (the new 1280) was a big downer for me. One choice means no choice, especially with Garrard running the show. I heard one too many definitive statements out of him years ago.
Does anybody else know what I mean? Do these Garrard quotes irritate you? "Oh that goes without saying, I agree 100%, I couldn't agree/disagree more, absolutely, that's a given, there's no way, and there's no doubt." I can't take anymore of Garrard acting like everything he says and feels is 100% a reality of anything (in sports no less).
What about the other crutch words like ultimately, essentially, and granted? Then there is the whole "when you do this, when you have that, when you are this" predicate set ups for yet another follow up definitive.
I might be rejected here, but I want the people to think about putting a voice to end the madness.
