Of course Bud likes it, it was his solution to save face for letting the 2002 All Star Game end in a tie.
Without a question, Bud is the worst Commissioner in the history of all sports...even worse than Stern in the NBA. The Cubs could have had Mark Cuban, but old Bud wanted his friend Ricketts to own them, so all the owners kept Cuban out.
Look for Bud in a year or two to tell the NL they need to institute the deignated hitter rule.
Why have Cuban who would treat his players and fans great and expect results. The Cubs are lovable losers!
They aren't so loveable when you are a Cubs fan.
