Seems like tax cuts for job creators instead of tax cuts for money changers.
Why would the republicans be against this?

Oh yeah, that vow to oppose all things during the Obama Administration.

Let's see if I understand the Liberal mindset. They want to TEMPORARILY increase jobs in America during an election campaign when their man is being beat by his own policies.

They want to leave in place all of the tax increases that they have been threatening to put on us.

They want to leave in place Obamacare with its "hidden" taxes for employers.

They want to leave in place all the regulations that are anti-business.

But, they are kind-hearted enough to BUY VOTES with their band-aid tax credit solution.

Did I get it right? Until I hear Democrats demanding that Obamacare be overturned, that regulations that unfairly target U.S. businesses be overturned, that tax policy targeting the people and businesses that create jobs be overturned, then I will safely assume that they have no intention of creating jobs.

Fooled ya again, the Bush legislation is not a tax cut because it does not deal with any taxes the government collects. Every tax in place has never been changed or reduced and we still pay the same, and even more.

What the Bush adjustment is was pure deception to fool all Americans to think they are a tax cut because they do nothing more than reduce the amount you pay to SSA, Medicare, and Medicaid. Which means defund SSA, Medicare, and medicaid to such a low level they look like they are being abused by entitled users and prime them for shutdown to fund the Obama care and socialized government taxes.

The SSA, Medicare, and Medicaid are trust funds, money the federal budget cannot touch and it kills Washington and Obama they can't have it. Obama care is not a trust fund account so it can be spent as a government income and SSA and Medicare, and Medicaid can be abolished. The Bush defunding program is dangerously interfering with the lives and future rights of american workers and threatens retirement and workers future entitlements. It is not a tax cut, its a plan to steal Americans retirement.

Little more than election year show boating. Dems know how to promote job creation, but are reluctant to use private sources rather than have the government take credit for prosperity.

Nope they want to increase jobs period, Temporary is the word the Bush administration used when they gave huge tax breaks to the wealthiest American for a period of time.

"They want to leave in place all of the tax increases that they have been threatening to put on us."
Wrong again, they want to let the uberwealthy, offshore hiding, unpatriotic Amercans start paying their share.

"They want to leave in place all the regulations that are anti-business."
I keep hearing about these from radio comedians but have yet to hear exactly what they are, please give an example.

"Did I get it right? Until I hear Democrats demanding that Obamacare be overturned"
Silly statement.

Happy valley is right, once again mike the only thing you prove is that you can mischartreuse and misrepresent others point of view. I never realized such behavior was a Christian value.

I own a small business. The cost of a new employee is greater than the tax cut offered. With the slowdown in our economy, and the slowdown in my business, adding a new employee just to get a tax break won't help my business at all.

Extending the Bush tax cuts would definitely help, as I am an S-corp. Principle values on my debt counts toward my income, meaning that I end up paying taxes on money applied towards debt. The loan has helped my business productivity and marketability, but extending the Bush tax cuts for all Americans will definintely help small business as the economy limps along.

The best change is voting out Obama in November. As a small business owner, that is a change I can support! If he earns another 4 years, I fear that the American economy and businesses will be devestated more than they already are.

Ok so let me understand this... Obama wants to RAISE taxes on small business in a huge way with his silly 250K and above tax and now senate democrats want to give business's who hire some small tax cut. Holy cow - these guys are either really really dumb or they just figure the people who vote are really really dumb. So if I have a small business I am NOT going to even think of hiring anyone or expand at all if I know there is a big tax increase coming for me at the end of the year. It's like someone telling you to spend $1000 and they will then reimburse you with $10. HUH???? I think I just won't spend at all until there is a president who won't play political games with my money.

I own a small business and tax credits for hiring are stupid. I hire people when the business is doing well and I need to expand. I did receive a tax credit for someone I hired but I didn't realize I would be getting a credit until the end of the year. Thanks for the credit but it was not an incentive.

If you want me to hire peeople, quit taking more and more money out of my pocket and quit taking more money out of the pockets of my customers. We need less government, not more. Governments don't make markets efficient.

Our country is great because of our freedoms. We can succeed on our own. If the government rewards on "need", not work and ability, the economy will fall apart and all but the laziest will be worse off.

So, let me get this straight. Chuck Schumer and his Democrat colleagues are proposing that we continue to "tinker around the edges" of the currently complicated and extremely flawed tax law. They want to make it more complex in the name of encouraging companies to hire new workers and buy major new equipment this year. The key words here are "more complex."

The Bowles-Simpson Commission was commissioned by Obama but has been totally ignored, by this Administration and the Congress. This Commission recommended in their final report, that the Congress and the Administration needs "...quit tinkering around the edges..." of the existing tax code. Bowles-Simpson recommended implementation of total tax reform (throw out the entire current code with all the loopholes, subsidies, tax credits, and deductions) so that this economy can finally become fiscally stable and grow again.

This proposed "tax change" is nothing more than pure election-year political cannon fodder. That is the only reason why it is being proposed by the Democrats. If that is not true, then why not get serious about REAL tax reform and consider implementation the recommendations of Bowles-Simpson?

And why wasn't this tried long ago instead of waiting for the election? Oh, that right, Mr. Biden said the recession was over.

Why should I hire more employees? For a tax credit? Hmmm Lets see.

A tax credit versus:

1. Higher taxes Jan 1 2013
2. A 2,500 dollar per person increase in Health Care per employee.
3. Added investment taxes.
4. Higher dividend taxes.
5. Higher Income tax.
6. 21 new taxes from the Health Care Mandate/Tax/Penalty.
7. Constantly being called Evil by President Obama and VP Biden.
8. Having the Whitehouse put money into their friends hands to compete against me with grant money and tax free! Sounds fair if your Obama's man.

Please consider these facts. If President Obama is reelected you will see massive job losses in the range of 8 million in one year. Estimated losses by small business to stay profitable if possible with the Health Care Law and Taxmaggedon breathing down our neck!

Will your job be one of them?

Worst of all the Obama Health Care Law will with every page(2700 plus 10,200 pages of regulations, restrictions, added requirements and new taxes) will take from each and every Citizen our freedom of choice!

83% of all doctors are now considering leaving the profession.

Its time to face Reality!

Few points about this supposed credit:

1. Its paid for entirely with borrowed dollars so its deficit spending!

2. Hiring workers or giving raises with no additional value added to the current product mass created causes additional inflation which does a few things!

A. It makes the dollar worth less so you can afford less. That is just like a tax on borrowing for this and everything else we borrow for.

B. Food and Gasoline becomes more expensive as the dollar deterioates in value. Saudi Arabia wants the same value for the oil so they raise the per barrel price!

C. General inflation will cause the servicing on the debt to rise. A two percentage point rise in interest will double the cost of the US debt payment. That doubled amount would be equal to all of the funds spent on the Military or Medicare and if it rose from 1.53 percent to 6 or 7 percent it would equal all of the Social security payments made! We are closer to Greece than Obama wants you to know!

Fellow Citizens we are in Big Trouble and no Obama distortion changes the fact! Obama wants 4 more years anyway possible!
