Mansally looked good, Watson-Siriboe did fine, he made a couple mistakes, but luckily wasn't punished for it. It's better to win at home, but points are nice right now.
A few thoughts on the game:
#1 - Replay shows Saborio was level when Wingert's cross was played to him. His goal should have stood.
#2 - Mansally looked good at left back. He could be the attacking-minded outside back that RSL needs. I hope his shoulder injury doesn't keep him from playing.
#3 - RSL looked off during the final 30 minutes. They were struggling to play the ball out of the back and started relying too heavily on playing balls over the top. Hopefully they can get out of their recent funk and get back to their winning ways. They are 3 points out of first place, but San Jose has a game in hand so it could be 6 points and Vancouver is only 4 points back with 2 games in hand.
MLS needs improvement with officiating. These people are garbage.
No doubt RSL is not playing well. Midfield especially is not connecting passes very well. And there doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency in their play.
Espindola has been playing his butt off.
Lastly, I've been saying it all season long. The MLS is a bush league when it comes to consistency in officiating. They need to change their training because frankly, they stink. After watching EURO 2012 it became try apparent just how bad the MLS refs are.
