This was my first and last time to attend the Stadium of Fire celebration. The Beach Boys have ruined any future desire to go because they cannot be topped. We sang and danced and partied to the great oldies. Even young kids were singing their hearts out with the band. Good times.

Amazing show by the Beach Boys. They sounded way better than expected for guys pushing 70. Also liked McCreery's new song, "water tower town", it could be a breakout hit. Fireworks were awesome, although the James Bond movie themes seemed out of place for the BYU campus, yet they were well-choreographed displays. Only drawback was the dreaded annual traffic gridlock afterwards. This is always compounded by the thousands of folks catching the show from outside the stadium.

I heard the Beach Boys and they should think seriously about hanging it up. I mean, none of our voices sound the way they did 50 years ago, and the BB (seriously, can you be a "Boy" in your 70s?) are no exception. But I guess as long as people are willing to thow $$$ their way, thinking they'll hear the same sound they heard in the '60s, why stop performing?

Just wondering - was Bruce Johnston making any of his disgusting remarks about the president and Mitt Romney? I'm stunned that they were invited to perform at Stadium of Fire.
