"Emergency responders should know the community they serve is deeply appreciative of the work they have done"
Except for that Mitt Romney guy who, after the President said we need more policemen, firefighters, and teachers, responded that we don't more burdensome government workers. Such adulation and respect, Mr. Romney.
Really isrred? You're going to politicize this article? Its about the emergency responders, not politics.
I for one have great admiration for our emergency responders. I live against the mountainside in Highland and, through a spotting scope, I watched the firefighters battle the blaze as it crept ever closer to our neighborhood. They looked so very tired yet they kept working, trying to save our homes and as much of the mountainside as they could. They are deserving of so much respect!
