I am Not sure what you can get out of a year of Education but it might make a difference. I think most will see it as just a way to get money. After a year you will see nothing much has changed. The Vets pictured are not a true cross section of Veterens. What the program will do is provide jobs for those running the program. I am not sure of the right or wrong of that.

If you go in the Service with No Job Skills and you don't get a job in the Services that the learned skills translate to Civilian Employment and If you do not go and stay in College (and it is hard)or trade school. Then you are No beter of then before you went in the Service. This may help and I don't see it doing any harm. As always it is mostly up to the individual. The biggest problems as always are outside stressors and substence abuse, as in Beer, Wine and Hard Drinks, Also Smoking because who is going to hire a stinking smoker that you have to give hourly breaks to in order to let them smoke.
