How about a temporary close on "ALL" of these shooting ranges, parks ect. Open them up when the weather and season permits with an understanding only certain ammo will be used and if someone does not comply large loss suits will follow.
But Vince, everyone has the right to shoot anywhere, anytime. Haven't you heard of the 2nd Ammendment? Folks can even have assault rifles, too, because well, the 2nd mmendment guarantees that as well. I'm surprised someone hasn't raised that argument against TSA when trying to get a firearm on an airplane. And the ACLU---where are they? Surely shooting by the dump is ok; even though this fire is costing millions not one nickel will be repaid by those responsible. The 2nd Ammendment is a great and wonderful thing, just like having more liquor licenses now. Life is more elevated in Utah now----just watch the smoke go up, up, up.
