This article is correct. The irrefutable truth is that religious practice is a positive endeavour that makes a man a better leader than he would otherwise be.

Religious practice teaches a man perspective, sacrifice, respect for others, and a whole host of positive values too numerous to mention. These are the very values that any sensible person would want the President to have.

Obama's abandonment of religion in exchange for left-wing socialistic dogma has led to his complete ineffectiveness as a leader. Every major idea that he has proposed has ended either in mediocrity or in abject failure. This is not the sort of leadership we need in this perilous time.

I'm hoping romney's faith is a long way from the political stage. A personal thing, where it should be. Obama hasn't abandoned religion; he's kept it where it should be. None of my business. The values I want a president, or dog catcher, or any other elected official to have, need to come grounded in a far greater and more proveable system than 'god says so'. Our nation's leadership owes us more justification than what the next warren jeffs brings to the table. They owe us sanity, and rational thinking. If we want to argue that religion should play a major role in politics, I can say only this. Yours, when compared to mine, is entirely wrong. And I have as much proof as you do.

Do you really believe that John, or does it have to coincide with YOUR brand of "religious practice"?

You cite Obama's "abandonment of religion". I am confused. I thought that the right labeled him as a Muslim? OR, they cited Rev Wright's impact on Obama.

So which is it this month?

Romney is for Romney, period. What ever he does is going to be in his self interest. For those who share a mutual interest with Romney then they too may benefit. However, those with mutual interests are mostly the one percent, that leaves a lot of citizens outside of the circle.
