Can't wait! Go Utes!!
With Pac 12 affiliation, great home schedule through November, teriific bowl tie-ins, and 18 starters returning, it is a great time to be a UTE!
It's so nice to have so many games televised. Back in the day you would be lucky to get 2-3 games a season on TV. On Saturday ABC would televise one, maybe two games. It's getting to where almost every Utah (and BYU) games are televised. Not to mention great Thursday and Friday night matchups. I love it! Go UTES!
Duckhunter and sammyg ...
Will you please shed some light on what's happening here? You had me believing I'd get to see my Utes on KJZZ or the Pac 12 regional channel all year long.
All these Pac 12 national, ESPN and ESPN2 games are preposterous!
I wonder if schools like Northern Colorado will be what keeps BYU off of Utah's schedule over the long haul.
@Esquire
You're absolutely right, teams like Northern Colorado WILL be what keeps BYU off of Utah's future schedules ... but that is a direct result of how difficult the other 11 games will be.
BYU is in the complete opposite situation whereas they're trying to build a more competitive schedule so I certainly understand where the angst comes from among coug fans. That being said, don't pretend Utah is just running away from good competition, this is about being smart and looking at the overall picture and what top competitors around the country are doing and getting rewarded for.
