Like some banks, Sen. Hatch has tried to make himself "too big to fail."
It's risky when politicians reach that point, because they become caught
up in their own power. And keeping that power becomes the underlying focus of
everything they do.It's a sad thing when voters - at the ballot
box - have to ask a veteran politician to step down because he's become
part of the problem. Yet that is exactly what Utah voters must do, for the
good of the nation, for the good of Utah, and - surprisingly - for the good of
Sen. Hatch himself (and his family).
