I think schools and education are losing touch with their responsibility's and the meaning of education in our schools. I sure hope they don't downsize school time and attendance for the reason they cite, none of the reduction included non education class time or citizenship education entitlement laws.
We treat teachers properly with 8 hour days but the students and children are held captive for 10-12 hours for other social programs and services to ease the cost on illegal foreign nationals to provide day care and meals to their impoverished and neglected children we provide $46,000 in food stamps and WIC at home.
I can't believe that schools are considering to make children career tourist for their states tourist industry.
Time in classes "and" school for children should be 6 hours, 7 if you include lunch and between class transfers. And I think they should abolish the 2 hour classes, they are too long and boring for a single subject.
Forget tourism, let's just get these kids back to work in factories!
"We don't need no education."
