Welcome, Pop!

Hmmmm, I don't think coaches, players or fans look at the Y with scorn or ridicule from Notre Dame, Miami (well, maybe. But that's Miami), Texas, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington...

But Utah?

And most hated team? I'm sure Boise will look forward to kicking u'r trash anytime the U is willing to man up and face them again. Pretty sure the old Wyo coach isn't fond of U either.

But you know what? I bet U don't care. Just like I don't care. Not about fans who hate fans, or fans who love to mock fans (I still think the missionary thing at SDSU was funny. Hateful, maybe so, maybe not, but def funny)

What I care about is that Pop's boys eat Jordan Wynn for lunch and spit out the bones.

Now that's what I'm talking about!

@Ducky...You say the U offense was horrible last year. Yet they put 54 points on the board in LES. That must just mean the cougie defense is one of the worst in college football. Unless of course their playing alska tech co-ed community college on a Wed night with a 2AM kick off.

@My Two dad's....I love how you and other cougie fans love to bring up boise state beating Utah. You do realize the Y has never beat boise st, right? You do realize the last time the Y played boise at home it was 50 - 12 for boise, right? The team quit like they did in the 54-10 beat down last year.

@2BCSWINS "Yet they put 54 points on the board in LES. That must just mean the cougie defense is one of the worst in college football."

And U lost to the 107th ranked team in the country on your home field. That must mean your team was worse than the Buffs, right?

(roll my eyes)

Utah has also never beaten BSU and the last time BSU played Utah in RES, the Broncos put on a 36-3 beat down. So what's your point?

@MLH "Byu is one of the most hated schools in the country."

I didn't realize that CSU and Wyoming represented the country's opinion. BYU was hated by teams in the MWC because the Cougars dominated the MWC. They won 140 total conference championships during their time in the MWC. The next closest team had something like 39.

BYU was (and obviously still is) the standard that those teams hold themselves to. People like U and 2BCSWINS just prove that since you're both on here stomping your feet and trying to make BYU fans think that U are actually relevant.

Sorry, KJZZ and trailer park football facilities just don't cut it.

@2BCSWINS

You do realize that 2 BCS Wins equals 0 National Championships right?

@JW...You do realize that boasting about an 84 national championship when you were 2 years old equals 0 BCS appearances, right? Utah in 2004 and 2008 did exactly what that 84 Y team did won every game put in front of them. Only differnce is they actually beat ranked teams while doing it and it wasn't 3 decades ago....LOL!

@Truecougie...Yes Colorado was better I give credit where credit is due. Bag colorado all you want but the team they beat stomped the Y by 44 points at home.

Yes I do realize Boise has owned the U again I give credit where credit is due. Let me make that point again since obviously you're a little slow. I don't undertand why so many Y fans post about boise beating the U? Like that makes the Y look better somehow when they have never beatin boise either. Yet I have seen so many posts about boise stomping the U from Y fans? Only difference here is the U and boise have actually been to and won BCS bowl games and the Y has not been close!

@2bcs

I didn't "say the u offense was horrible", the u offense was horrible. Just look at how they ranked in total offense. I'm sorry if that hurts you but it is just the way it is.

@2BCSWINS "Yes Colorado was better I give credit where credit is due"

Really? U really think Colorado was a better team than Utah? My original point was to try and show that one game does not a season make, but if U think the Buffs were a better team than the Utes last year then power to U.

Yes, the Utes beat us by 44 last year. It was the perfect storm, a complete meltdown. an epic fail.

Were the Utes really that good? Nope, since they lost to two teams with losing records and got blown out by two others that barely finished above .500. Were the Cougars really that bad? Nope, since they lost to two much better teams than Utah (TCU and Texas) by a total of 11 pts, and ended the year 10-3 and ranked #25.

As for BSU, I'm assuming BYU fans bring them up because they're another one of those 'mid-majorey WAC' teams that has beat up on U in the past.

True Coug have you taken time to actually read what you post? You never give the U credit for anything. You never do anything but boast the Y no matter how you have to spin it. You also discredit anything to do with Utah by spinning it however you can to make them look bad.

I mean really the Y get's beat by more then 6 TD's on their home feild. Yet you're really going to try and spin it as it was the "perfect storm a complete meltdown".

Are you serious? Do you really believe that Utah had nothing to do with winning that game? Do you really think the Y was a better team and somehow just handed Utah the game? I understand where you're coming from I'm the exact same way at times on the other side. However sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due.

@2BCSWINS

Lol, bro, take it easy, it's called trash-talking. U started this whole thing by coming on here running your mouth, remember?

The Utes scored 28 pts on 6 total yds of offense. I'll give them credit for that. BYU's defense had held John White IV to 13 yds rushing on 12 carries through the 3rd QTR and total yardage was identical going into the 4th quarter.

The only difference? 7 TO's by the Cougs, 4 of them completely unforced. So yes, I would call that a complete meltdown, or a perfect storm. Do I think Utah was really that good? Not at all, for the reasons I listed below. Do I think BYU was really that bad? Again, not at all, for the reasons I listed below.

I also do not think Colorado was a better football team than Utah. We have the whole season to look at for proof of that.

So I'm sorry I will not give credit to the Utes for the Cougars' meltdown. The Utes were the happy recipients of a 7 TO gift from BYU.

Congratulations for that.

Go Cougars!
