This passed 7 to 1 yesterday. We were at a public meeting a few weeks ago and on that panel was a person from Metro. This was not mentioned but other ideas were. They also mentioned how they were the lowest or among them for people to get a degree from so we cant help but wonder how many legal residents / out of state students these illegals will displace.
Out of state students have always subsidized in state in CO and with our budget cuts; there is alot less money going to our colleges and universities. This however is complete nonsense and very unfair to those students coming from out of state. Hope it doesnt start a chain reaction amongst the other colleges and universities here because then our legislature will have to step in.
