In 1992, the Jazz could have been a couple of games better on the road and been a #1 seed that would have made the finals. The Bulls would have been waiting ironically enough. In 1992, the Bulls were starting the dynasty phase. They weren't as dominant as they later would be, but either were the Jazz. Bottom line, the Jazz would have probably lost to the Bulls.
The Jazz made the Western Conference Finals in 1992, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 2007. Out of six tries they made the Finals twice. If they made it in 1992 and 1996, they would have faced the Bulls again, In 1994, the Jazz lost to the Rockets at home in a decisive game. The Rockets went on to play the Knicks when Jordan was out playing baseball. That phase stings the most for me because the Rockets won two straight titles while Jordan was out. The Jazz could have had the dynasty if they peaked a few years earlier. Later, the Jazz finally beat those Rockets on Stockton's shot, but then Jordan was waiting.
Utah lost game 7 (1996) in the closing seconds to Seattle. More finals shots lost.
