Pay and Hamilton can't pitch in the final game which might give Skyline an important edge but if the Eagles don't start swinging the bats, Timpanogos will win it all. Skyline must find some offense. In four of their games, they have been held down offensively. And they can't expect Lars Lofgren to be able to pitch like he did Tuesday on short rest. The Eagles will need to plate some runs. I say Skyline should do it but you never know...

Sure doesn't look like they contol the 4A tourney right now with a 9-0 defecit in the 3rd inning. Timpanogos has some great coaching I wouldn't expect anything less than 2 wins today.

Hats off to Timpanogos. Kim Nelson may be the best coach in the state. He took a team that placed 5th in Region 8 and had to win a play-in game just to make the state tournament to the state title game. Timpanogos has some nice players but he is definitely their best asset and Skyline's coaches better not do their Ron Washington managing imitations or Timpaonogos might walk off with another baseball title. The odds are long for the T-Wolves but with Nelson as the mighty skipper, they have a shot.
