This emprisonment of Shaki Afridi raises so many questions: How did he become a target as one who has given info for the location of Bin Laden? If there was the posibilty that he would be held responsible by the Pakistani powers that be, why was he and his family not taken out of the country into a safe haven? Who were his contacts in our government? What assurance if any, given for his safety if indeed Ben Laden was captured or killed? One would hope Afridi was not put in jepordy by our government with no safety net provided.
