It is inaccurate to call this a National Championship. This is an invitational showcase. Herriman, the top team in the state and #3 in the nation (with victories over Trybe, United, and Snow Canyon this season) did not get invited by USA Rugby because they decided on the participants before the season began. Not a true national championship if you don't have the best teams there. That said, best of luck to all of our local teams - represent Utah well!!
