You got all of that from a 4 word quote?

I think if you were to talk to Bush it would be a bit better than "Tepid"

The real question is will Jimmy Carter endorse Obama? One would think so because they are so very much alike as has been the disastrous results of their “leadership”!

Typical AP spin.

bush avoids politics. I wish Obama would follow his lead.

Endorsement? My dog would show more enthusiasm. Why wouldn't Bush like Romney? They are two peas in a pod. Same policies, same advisors. Like Bush and what he gave us? Good luck with that, because Romney would give us more of the same if not worse.

"Since leaving office in January 2009, George W. Bush has tried to avoid politics."

We only wish he had tried to avoid politics altogether.

Actually, I never thought we could have a worse President then Carter.
Then came Bush (W).

So then I thought we could never have a worse President than W.
Then came Obama.

I have never had the opportunity in my 32 years of voting to vote for a good option for President, only ever the lesser of 2 or 3 evils. Do I dare hope Mitt will be any different?

I predict that this will prove to be a tremendous boon for the Romney campaign. GO ROMNEY!

President George W. Bush served his country and pulled us through a rough time because he had a good Cabinet, advisors, a father who had gone through a similar situation. President Bush unified the country for a time through his leadership. He made tough decisions in a tough time. The economy went on the downside after the House and Senate fell out of his control and bad decisions were made by that group of Legislators in control. President Bush was not an outgoing President trying to pound his own back and chest as some Presidents. He is not in charge of the country and President "I" "I" "I" Obama says he is completely in charge.

This endorsement, even though in few supposedly words, will help unite, again the GOP and hopefully the country more in November as we will have a changing of the "I" Guard to the "We" Guard and have a more solidified instead of a divided country and world. Problems won't go away but the debacles of 4 years of this administration will hopefully subside and we can have a turnaround like Governor Romney has proven to do in the past to present. I like Mitt

The last sentence made me chuckle; Dubya did a heckuva job avoiding politics the 8 yrs prior to Jan 2009.

Not conservative enough for me but CERTAINLY the better of two evils. Retire Hatch, and for sure retire BO.

The headline is incorrect. If a journalist read all of the info written about the endorsement, they would learn that the experts say Bush has waited for and down played his endorsement because he knows that he is unpopular and it would not be a real help to Romney.

I think GW said as much as Romney wanted him to say. Less is more when coming from the lips of GW.

The old "kiss of death"?? Or, "be careful what you wish for"?

I for one listen very closely to everything GWBush says and does ---
and then immediately think, believe and do the exact opposite!

GWBush lost the last of his credibility and respect as Commander-in-Chief with THIS military Veteran with
"Mission Accomplished" and "Weapons of Mass Destruction".

And that was BEFORE he lit the the economy on fire, and played his fiddle while watching it burn.

To "LDS Liberal" and what is your opinion of Obama who is now roasting marshmallows and throwing gasoline on the fire that you blame Bush for?

[Not true - Every Veteran has fought for Socialism.
We are allies with England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Israel, Korea, Canada, and the rest of the World. More correctly; We fight Totalitarianism -- ie.e, Fascism, Communism, the Taliban and every other form of Extremeism -- Foreign and Domestic.]

[As with most of the country --- I'm upset he hasn't done MORE, and FASTER. He's suffering from too little, too late.
But what can America expect with an Obstuctionist Anti-American Congress - who put Party Politics ahead of this Country. And Obama's 48% is better still light-years ahead of the GOP lead Congress and their all time histoical low of 14%.

My opinion is more inline with America's political reality -- and the numbers prove it.]
