Nuh-uh. I see what you did there, guys! Lolly gag it for 13 out of 16 quarters, then make a nice run in the last minutes of the final game so everyone can have a nice feeling about a horrible, waste-of-time series. Nice try. Not buying it for a second.
I hope they bring Carol back. He was the one who sparked the rally at the end and forced Pop to put his starters back in. The Jazz have certainly come a long ways, and it won't be long before they are the ones at the top of the heap.
It was said in the article that the Jazz, "supposedly wasn't supposed to be a postseason contender in this condensed NBA campaign." All I can say is that the Jazz conclusively proved what they were not a postseason contender. They simply were over their heads, and I fear that they will be in the same predicament for some time.
I didn't see grit and class. I saw 4 guys who didn't want the ball, 2 guys hustling (Carol, Favors) and 1 guy learning on the job (Burke), our most experienced defender on the bench (Bell).
