Bronco has not had a player drafted that he has recruited as the Head Coach at BYU - 1 player (Unga)was taken in the Supplemental Draft.
During that same time, Whittingham has had 17 players drafted - 9 in the last 3 years, representing his recruits.

Too much said, hedge. How's the PAC 12 Championship Game? Did you enjoy watching UCLA get creamned by Oregon? Get used to watching that game from home.

Go get 'em.
the NFL is drooling over undersized unathletic guys like Jacobsen(and all others at byu)
Way to go Mckay! Sorry to the rough end of your BYU Career. Good luck out in the pros.
Mckay Jacobsen is every bit as athletic as anyone on Utah's squad by the way. He may not have been able to showcase his play-making ability in the later part of his career but he's no less athletic than any player the Utes have.
Good for him. Hopefully he can stick. Too bad it wasn't with the Cowboys.
Mission was tough on Jacobsen.
But, you never know when an athlete will step up and do well.
Hedgy, but K-Whitt's draft numbers have dropped off drastically, so obviously that means that he is in his declining years, right?
Seriously, as Ive gone back through last season, Jacobson had decent numbers with Riley. Still wasn't the production we hoped for from before his mission, but he actually made some big plays for BYU this last season.
Just ask Utah State.

"How's the PAC 12 Championship Game? Did you enjoy watching UCLA get creamned by Oregon? Get used to watching that game from home".
How's that November schedule going for you? Did you enjoy watching WAC teams and having two November byes last season? Get used to that cupcake November schedule because that is the best the cougs can do.
Wish the best for Jacobsen--he had some memorable catches for BYU, including the game winner at Oklahoma.
>Hedgy, but K-Whitt's draft numbers have dropped off drastically, so obviously that means that he is in his declining years, right?" Ygrad
I suppose you can say KWhitt's numbers dropped off from a NCAA leading 6 draft picks as you can say bronkos numbers held steady at zero.
I didn't realize there was a demand for slow white receivers in the NFL. An arena league career is more likely.
WHYGRAD?/WHYDAD?,
Sorry but the facts don't support your opinion. In the last 5 years 14 Utes drafted by the NFL 4 Cougars. Don't you hate when facts ruin your post??
@Chris B,
I know that saying ridiculous things to get a rise out of BYU fans is kind of your thing (at least I hope it is, because if you really believe some of the things you post, then that's just sad), but you really ought to be careful about making comments that reflect poorly on your own team. Calling Jacobson "unathletic" would mean that about 95% of your Utes are also unathletic.
For the record, I hope McKay makes it, but I wouldn't put any money on it.

I guess you haven't been paying attention. Believe it or not, Jacobsen is FAST! But you are right that he is white, so one out of two ain't bad.
Let's say he's got descent speed not blazing speed but he's 5'10???? YOu know how many Wes Welker's there are? One! And Jacobsen is no Welker.
There are still very few comments on the bergstrom articles and almost none from BYU fans, and none that are negatives about bergstrom. There are none at all about the utah players that signed free agent contracts.
Are you few utah fans that actually doubt which fan base and which posters are the lowlifes aoround here paying attention? Stg are you paying attention?
BYU!--Utah's best in football:
* most wins in the past six years
* most TV coverage
BYU! Basketball:
* same as above
BYU'S total sports program?
What the heck? The pride of Utah.

Jacobson will be selling cotton candy at SF 49er games with Max Hall this fall. Their buddy Alex Smith got Hall his job. Good luck McKay!
@ Fudd
Yeah, you're right----it's hard to have another 10 win season and be ranked in the top 25 once again, especially when it was accomplished without being a member of a "BCS Conference."
The only thing harder to watch than that must have been the game at Utah against Colorado that cost the Utes the opportunity to appear in the Inagural PAC 12 Championship game; you know, the game that was possible because the PAC 10 expanded asking Colorado first, then 5 BIG 12 Teams that told them what they could do with their invitation, so out of desparation they invited Utah and GREASED their way to the tournament game. All the lowly Utes had to do was defeat Colorado (worst team in collegiate football) on their home field in SLC. Wasn't it interesting that after a single year Doman stayed in place and Chow left the supposed miracle program? My, why couldn't Kyle hang onto an alumnus that drooled over coaching the Utes? Interesting...
