I'm not sure where they're getting the taxes haven't been raised. Have you checked your property taxes lately? They have gone up consistantly over the years. Then we are "taxed" by the bonds, fee increases, forced to take on another refuse container and pay for it etc. So maybe they didn't come right out and say tax, but, we still are paying a higher price for the same services or decrease of services in some areas.

It would also be interesting to see an article explaining how union members in the city got higher pay increases last year than non-union employees. And have Becker explain how that is fair and how the democrates were not influenced by union voting and financial support.

It would also be interesting to see if Becker would support making donations to union a taxable event. Since barack is looking for ways to cut loop holes, would Becker support cutting that loophole?
