Wow! What a treasure! And you're right; the imperfections DO make it more valuable. Like the quilts in Maya Angelou' short story, "Everyday Use", this book fulfilled its creators' intent; it was USED! I remember the day my then-toddler son grabbed at my mother's scriptures and tore out a page. I was horrified, but she carefully put it back in place and never repaired it or replaced the book because it forever reminded her of her grandson.
