Axelrod said of Romney,

"He wants to go back to the policies of the last decade on economics," Axelrod said. "And on other stuff, he says Russia is our greatest foe, he thinks employers ought to be able to decide if women should be able to get contraception coverage or not, every employer. If we drill for oil, that will solve our energy problem, no high fuel efficiency."

I have to agree with that assessment.

When gas hits $5 a gallon latter this coming summer people will wonder why Obama scuttled the Canadian oil pipeline. Americans don't want a dictator for president and will tie a can on Obama's tail this November.

How anyone can possibly blame the POTUS for the price of gas is beyond reason.

If the POTUS could even remotely control the price of gas, he WOULD be a dictator, regardless whether he was Romney, Obama, or Jesus Himself!

Let's all be very clear on one truth: the POTUS does not control the economy, much less the price of oil or the price of tea in China.

So you're saying that what happened from 2000-2008 was NOT Bush's fault? Wow, now Obama has nothing to stand on.

Here's something the President DOES have control over: our national debt. Bush was bad; almost $5 trillion in 8 years. Obama has been much, much worse; almost $6 trillion in 3 years!
