You 4A coaches need to start scouting now. This team has come together, and their pitchers are the teams strength, although it seems as if they're producing plenty on the offensive side of the ball as well.

What does it say about Spanish Fork having the top 3A, and 4A programs in the state right now?

Man it would be great to see Spanish Fork vs. Maple Mountain this year, but it won't happen.

What will happen is a showdown in a couple of weeks with Springville. I'm predicting that Maple Mountain goes into these two games with a chip on their shoulder and absolutely dominates their cross town rival. Good luck Springville!

Time will tell if coach Miner will have enough support from both Mapleton/Spanish Fork communities to sustain a powerful high school program. You need good men coaching the youth league teams to feed his school for the next few years. Without them, this run will be very short for Maple Mountain. Enjoy it while it lasts.

4A is really down this year. Maybe this is the year Cyprus gets it done or maybe Skyline. Mountain Crest has the proven coach but might not have the talent of the two.
