And yet, morally corrupt politicians are fighting to get rid of this program. Why? So they can install more car elevators into their mansions? Unbelievable.
According to study after study, students who participated in Head Start scored no better than students who did not! Student who attended private schools score significantly higher than those who attend public schools! Bottom line: If you want your child to receive a good education, send them to a private school or a charter school!
@ Maverick.. Mitt Romney has said if elected, he will return control of education to the states, where it belongs and can be administered more efficiently. He is right on but your comment about him wanting to stop head start is not correct! By the way, if Romney puts elevators in his home, it will NOT be with taxpayer money, so what’s your point?
