Great article. This is a very talented group of players. Don't be surprised to see one or two of these players in the Canadian League next year.
What would a BYU article be without it's biggest fans commenting - Otis, Naval, Pac Proud...
Just curious, why do these players have to hire someone outside of Provo to help them improve their skills? I assume this means that the BYU coaches don’t know how to do these things and have never worked to improve the player’s skills when they could play at BYU. I guess as long as we have Riley nothing else matters.
Pretty much every BYU player gets drafted by the NFL.
The beard on Reynolds suits him. Makes him look like Merlin Olsen back in the day.
Wayne: it is not uncommon for recruits everywhere to hire someone who trains professional athletes for a living.
I am sorry you are still bitter about Heaps. The way you won't let this go, he must be a relative. Take solace in the hope that he'll do just fine at Kansas.
Wow, Reynolds loses 35 pounds and grows a beard....sounds like he's trying to distance himself from bYu in an attempt to get drafted.
Good strategy.
It seems kind of like getting players to the NFL isn't a priority for BYU. It's kind of like "if you have NFL talent and you want to go that direction then that's great and good luck to you."
Not saying that's wrong, just kind of how it seems. I hope that wouldn't hurt future players decisions to want to come to the Y, but I guess it wouldn't anymore than the honor code or anything else unique to BYU. If BYU wasn't unique who knows if how good they would be.
Good luck to the former players!
Btw the guy with the beard is Terence Brown not Matt Reynolds.
Is that facial hair?
Will somebody please tell the alum that the honor code police are having a nervous breakdown while in pursuit of the major infraction. Weight room beware.
Actually, the picture looks good. BYU needs more of this look in the trenches.
Man, the games cannot start soon enough!
Wayne's bitterness is legendary, but still mysterious. I think at heart he is still a BYU fan, which unfortunately means that for him, this will be a very long season.
Mean time, back to the article, best of luck, guys. Ignore the ankle biters. You have a chance at the Big Time. They (like me...) have a keyboard and Internet access.
