Sometimes I find myself wishing that politicians could be rendered unable to lie (a la the movie Liar Liar). About the closest we get are 'hot microphone' candid moments. Such occasions are simultaneously gratifying and shocking. Gratifying because you find your conclusions about their (in this case President Obama's) lack of character confirmed. Also shocking because of how many people fail to recognize this deficiency in character in so many of our 'leaders'.

I find this whole thing amusing. Does anybody really believe that leaders, whether they be political, religious or business, do not on a regular basis use various negotiating tactics to achieve their objectives, tactics that some may consider misrepresentations of the truth. I can't believe people are getting so focused on a "candid" moment between Obama and Medvedev, the context or objective of the comments of which we will never know. It's entirely possible that Obama is prevaricating to the Russians rather than the American people, getting them to go along with something under the guise of "election year". But even if it's purely for Obama's political purposes, isn't it Romney's campaign who said different situations call for different strategies (etch a sketch anyone?). Mountains out of molehills IMO.

Obama selling out our friends in Europe and kissing the backsides of our enemies, again!

If Obama is doing the will of the people, there would be no flexibility problems.

What he really meant is I have been selling out the Country little by little but after re election I can do it wholsale.

No excuse for such character. As a President of the USA, you serve its people and its interest even if at the expense of the others. BO serves himself and his hidden agenda. He does not care about the american people and its interest.
