Good on the Kruger Bros. for "gitting er done" during the off season. I'll be sad when all the Kruger Bros. are graduated/gone to the Pros as they have been awesome football players and overall good eggs. Glad to hear that Travis WIlson and Travis Hansen are doing well/composed during practice as depth at QB is sorely needed. In the throwing dept. I hope the Wynn is finally healthy and able to air it out a bit as the long ball throw has been missing from the Utes game, except on very rare occasions, for awhile. Too bad there can't be two football seasons (spring and fall) as spring ball is just a tease.
I almost feel sorry for Utah's offense having to go up against their own defense every day. It makes you wonder how they can learn the little things when they're all running for their lives.
I'm sure it works out to be a plus in the end.
Go Utes!
Got to love the Kruger family. They are all tremendous athletes. I'm glad they have all chosen to come play for the Utes.
I'm getting the feeling that our defense is going to be even better than they were last year. That could be a scary thing if we can get the offense clicking a bit and keep guys healthy. Our defense kept us in a lot of games last year, hopefully this year our offense will be able to hold up their end and keep them off the field and rested.
I wish I could go see Kyle drive a bull dozer into the old practice facility. To think this is with only a small portion of the money from the PAC 12 contract.
Oh it's a great time to be a Ute!
Any more of these guys waiting in the wings? What a great football family!
Yes there is still one more brother Mark Kruger who will be a senior in High school this year. He is a tank and is naturally stronger than the other brothers so he should do well playing inside the line defensively and I heard he also plays center for Pleasant Grove on offense and does really well. Go Kruger's and GO Utes!
I think it's great the Defense pulls Star Lotulelei off the Line every so often so the Offense can get a little practice in too, and perhaps get a feel for how the play is SUPPOSED to end, rather than ending all their Offensive drills at the line of scrimmage. That was good thinking on the coaches part.
What a great time to be a Ute.
