The article may bring one to the conclusion prison life is quite similar to life on "the outside". Our outside world, sadly, becomes more like prison for families these days. We see religious fanaticism on one end and atheism on the other, just like everywhere else. Will religion protect your family?
Many of us feel those committing some of the lesser crimes need a second chance due to all they may have gone through in their lives. Bad life circumstances may have "ruined them". There are so many of these folks now in our society both in an out of prison. Those who have developed the tools to destroy, maim, and kill may be living just next door. Do they have any religion in their lives?
Now a powerful story fills our minds, as we try to understand the death of an innocent teenager. This innocent young teenager was killed by a disturbed individual who felt self appointed in deciding who was or was not a threat to him.
Could this killer have used religion? What will he receive as far as religion goes in Prison? Will he regret killing this boy?
Where is God?
