Never thought I'd read this headline. Al Jefferson passing the ball out for easier baskets, and Paul Millsap admitting the Jazz are a much better team when Jefferson does this. Most of us commenting here over the past year have been saying this over and over again. Let's see how long this lasts. I'm thinking one of the coaches finally let Jefferson know that he needed to play a more team-oriented game or else.

It will be interesting to see if this new play style will continue and how it will develop. It could make a big difference in how the team plays and get the team a few extra wins. Big Al could have a triple double by season's end. Maybe a couple of them even.

I'd say quadruple threat. His threat against our own defense! He can score 40 a game and it wouldn't cover up the fact that he gives up that many in layups. Corbin please put Kanter in the lineup with him to protect the basket. That will give Millsap room to work in the second unit.

Yeah fortydam I saw the same Utah Cleveland game that you did. Once Kyrie Irving saw that Big Al was giving away free layups he started driving right at him towards the paint and each time big Al would kindly move out of his way for a free uncontested layup. Irving ended up with 22 second half points. Big Als defense or lack of reminds me alot of Boozer. Maybe the so called big mans coach can teach him how to move his feet to slide over and close the lane to the basket.

i was against millsap going to the bench but i think the second unit with opey is more run style off and millsap and favors should be better at running than favors and kanter. i think if you put millsap on the 2nd unit. the 2nd unit should be the 1st unit

While there is always room for improvement, I am encouraged by the last few games. The light coming on for Big Al to give up the rock is huge, and combined with Harris's and Bell's increasing ability to make the outside shot should improve the offense a ton. I think that maybe some fans are a bit too demanding or critical. If the Jazz get a good inside/outside game going, and the second unit takes off with Hayward, this team could not only make the playoffs, but perhaps at a decent seed or with a decent chance of getting past the first round.
