Not a big basketball fan, but Hurricane High came from I believe 9 points down in the 3A semifinal against Cedar to force overtime and eventually win. Also, in the 3A championship game they knocked off the number 1 team in 3A Desert Hills while coming from behind again! I'm not wanting to take away from these other performances, but I thought at least one of Hurricanes games would be in the top 10. Oh well, I guess they got the state trophy and that's what really matters :)
It was a great basketball season for the high school ranks.
Kudos to Lone Peak and Hurricane for winning both the football and basketball championships!
